SAIA Committees
Three committees form the base of SAIA’s structures and coordinate the organization’s various initiatives.
Patient Outreach & Advocacy Committee
This Committee provides education, support, & aims to improve access to treatment options for patients with IBD and other GI conditions. IBDesis is an integral part of this committee.
Professional Development Committee
Professional Development Committee aims to facilitate the professional development of multidisciplinary GI clinicians.
Research Committee
Research Committee endeavours to develop robust and multidisciplinary research to emphasize the need for better care and treatment options for the management of IBD and related GI conditions.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee works to build bridges within the multidisciplinary GI clinician community to facilitate networking to collaborate with SAIA to improve patient care, host professional events, and advance research.
