Tanya Manohar

Tanya Manohar is a Crohn’s disease warrior from Chennai, India. She was diagnosed in 1999 when awareness and understanding of IBD in India was still nascent. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Accounting from North Carolina, USA in 2006. After 10 years in the corporate world, she now pursues her passion as a volunteer in an NGO. She teaches children with learning disabilities from underprivileged backgrounds. Tanya is happily married and is mother to a mischievous ten year old son. She is passionate about finding ways to lead as full a life as possible with Crohn’s. She has participated in numerous seminars as a patient advocate and has actively counselled several patients to help them navigate their way through IBD.
